Being one of the members of WTO, Cambodia has seen rapid progress in the last decade. The main domestic activity is agriculture. Manufacturing output is varied but is not very extensive and is mostly conducted on a small-scale and informal basis. The service sector is heavily concentrated in trading activities and catering-related services.

 

Market Information

 

Exporting rubber has always been one of the major ways to earnings exchange, at present there are 9 rubber companies (of which seven state-owned), more than 9 % of rubber are sold into Vietnam. In 2009 the national investment in Cambodia are 4.3 billion U.S. dollars. Malaysia investment to Cambodian enterprises reached 21 billion U.S. dollars.
